About me

The Díaz Lab at the Lundquist Institute investigates the biology of normal and tumor cells to advance knowledge on mechanisms of cell invasion and organelle adaptation to stress. Our goal is to find novel interventions that can provide clinical solutions to human conditions such as chronic wounds, lung interstitial diseases and lung cancer.

Cell invasion and organelle adaptation to stress

  • Invadopodia function and regulation
  • Adaptation of lysosomes and mitochondria to stress
  • Protein myristoylation and tumor biology
